José Vidal Gancedo received his PhD in 1993 in chemistry by Barcelona University working at Institut de Ciència de Materials (ICMAB-CSIC) in Barcelona (Spain).  In 2002 he obtained a research position at ICMAB-CSIC.  He is co-author of 132 SCI papers than have received over 4350 citations, 5 book chapters and 8 patents.
