Nanostructured molecular materials for biomedical innovation

The NANOMOL-BIO group is devoted to the synthesis, physico-chemical characterization and development of molecular and polymeric nanomaterials for biomedical applications.

The group advances materials from fundamental molecular design towards pre-clinical regulatory phases, connecting nanostructured materials science with therapy, diagnosis, regenerative medicine and bioimaging.

Its research contributes to the ICMAB materials for health ecosystem through nanovesicles, organic nanoparticles, hydrogels, dendrimers and hybrid nanosystems designed for biomedical performance.

NANOMOL-BIO designs molecular and polymeric nanomaterials to address biomedical challenges in therapy, diagnosis, infection prevention, imaging and regenerative medicine.
