Advanced Characterization and Nanostructured Materials (ACNM)

Functional oxide materials, advanced structural characterization, nanodevices and nanostructured materials for spintronics, thin films and life sciences.

Advanced characterization for functional nanostructured materials

The Advanced Characterization and Nanostructured Materials (ACNM) group generates fundamental and applied knowledge for the implementation of functional oxide materials in novel technologies, including spintronics and advanced nanodevices.

The group combines functional property studies with structural characterization of functional defects, complex oxide thin films, self-assembled materials and nanoparticles for life sciences.

Its research connects advanced materials synthesis, nanoscale structure, functional properties and device-oriented applications within the ICMAB research ecosystem.
