Scientific exchange and training within ICMAB

The Seminars and Training Committee—also referred to in the former layout as the Seminars and Internal Training Committee—promotes opportunities for the ICMAB community to share research, discover expertise and develop scientific and technical knowledge.

Its remit covers workshops, scientific seminars, technical seminars on ICMAB services and other internal sessions. It is a committee for institutional participation and planning, distinct from the Institute’s event calendar and from the Communication & Outreach Unit.

The Committee connects research, people, scientific services and specialised training through five complementary objectives.

Share ICMAB research lines

Disseminate the research lines developed across ICMAB.

Introduce new researchers

Help the ICMAB community learn about researchers who have recently joined the Institute.

Present scientific services

Increase awareness of the Scientific and Technical Services available at ICMAB.

Host renowned researchers

Offer regular seminars by renowned national and international researchers.

Develop focused training

Organise training workshops on specific subjects and techniques.
